Who We Are

A Quick History

One Life began in a living room here in Newnan, GA during the fall of 2011. A core group of families began to gather on Sunday evenings to connect as a community of believers seeking a deep intimate time with the Holy Spirit. We discovered that hunger gains the attention of Papa God quickly and before we knew it we were ministering to individuals in our community through the love and power of the Holy Spirit. Since 2011 we have incorporated with the state as non-profit and have become a 501-C3 non-profit church with the federal government.

Our Leaders

We believe the fivefold ministry as outlined for us in the bible (Ephesians 4) is for today and for us. Our church government is designed to be conducive to allowing the team to maintain accountability, vision, direction, and day to day operations of One Life Community Church to serve our local community and our church body.
ur senior leaders are Matt & Judy Pfaltzgraf. Matt served the United States Army for four years and has had real world experience as a manager for Publix Supermarkets for close to 12 years. Matt holds a BA from Luther Rice University in Religion/Ministry, minored in Christian counseling, and he is also a Bethel certified trainer in Sozo.
Judy was in retail management for 16 years. She is a 3rd year graduate from Bethel Atlanta school of supernatural ministry her focus of studies was inner healing and mentoring under Tom & Sheryl Roan who are the Southeast Regional Directors for Bethel Sozo. Judy is also a Bethel certified trainer and Director of One Life Newnan Sozo. All of our leaders have had real world experience in addition to extensive leadership training and have been equipped to lead a generation of revivalists to change our families, cities, and regions.

Our Gathering

We believe that when we gather we do so as a family. As we peer into the book of Acts in the bible we catch a beautiful glimpse of what “church” family looks like (Acts 2:42-47). Our goal at One Life is to be a “Greenhouse”, to create an environment where we can come in out of the harsh conditions of day to day life, become healed, empowered, and released to be ambassadors of Christ to our families, friends, and city (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). We have worked hard to create a community that truly loves unconditionally and judgment free. We are all on our journey of discovering God, and we believe we are meant to do it together.
Our goal as a community is to magnify the love of Papa God through His son Jesus Christ. We are not your “typical church” and we are okay with that! During our gathering, you will experience a deep intimate time of worship, the move of the Holy Spirit, the body ministering in the gifts of the Spirit through body ministry, and a time of teaching in the word.

A Heart for Community

We feel a deep conviction to serve our community through the practical and supernatural. We have a local outreach that serves the community with coats, food, and most importantly, ministry through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe the love and power of God is the transforming grace to bring others into the kingdom. Our heart is not to get people to come to a church building but to encounter the “church” through us.  We intentionally look for ways to serve our city agenda free in hopes that they see the unconditional love of God through us. We do not believe we can do this alone. We encourage all of our community to connect to local outreaches and ministries to serve their vision for our city. Unity will be the catalyst to bring transformation to our city.

What We Believe

The Word

We believe the entire bible is the inspired word of God. That men were moved by the spirit of God to write every word of scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

Our God

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons; Father, Son, and Holy spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ (the Son of God) is the second member of the trinity who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the savior of the lost.

Humanity

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but
became alienated through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

Salvation

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but
became alienated through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

Christian Life

We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the word of God and daily yielding to the Holy Spirit and intimate relationship, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.

The Church

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and loving others by making Him known to the lost.
